January is National Hobby Month and as someone who is all about balancing ambition with joy, I couldn’t let this celebration pass without sharing my favorite hobby with you. Let’s talk about two things that truly light me up when I’m not coaching, strategizing, or diving into business plans. For me, it’s all about getting out of my usual routin e and savoring the little things—literally! There’s something magical about packing a suitcase, boarding a plane, and landing somewhere completely new. As a business owner, it’s easy to get caught up in the grind. But traveling reminds me that life is about so much more than deadlines and spreadsheets. It’s about soaking in sunsets, walking through historic streets, and eating something you can’t pronounce (which leads me to tacos, but more on that later). Every trip teaches me something new, whether it’s resilience, patience, or just the simple joy of getting lost.
Some of my most cherished memories are of trips with my life partner Brett. From serene beaches to adventurous hikes, we’ve made it a point to explore as much as we can together. These trips are more than vacations. They’re a chance to reconnect, dream big, and create memories that fuel my passion for life and business.

Now let’s get to the tastiest part of my hobby of traveling. I’m not just a casual taco fan. I’m on a mission to find the best tacos wherever I go.
